AMS (Acupuncture and Meridian Studies) Awards was established by the Korean Pharmacopuncture Institute (KPI) to encourage researchers to contribute to the areas of alternative medicine, including Korean Medicine, and to facilitate the activation of study throughout Korean Medicine. Candidates for the award are nominated through screening by an independent selection committee, and selection is based on the quality of articles in basic and clinical fields submitted for publication in JAMS and in the Journal of Pharmacopuncture (Journal of the Korean Pharmacopuncture Institute). iSAMS holds the awards ceremony.
